· Rajni Bector and her family were forced to flee Karachi during the partition and seek safety in Ludhiana, Punjab, along with many other Indians of the day. Ludhiana was her upbringing, and she was married at the tender age of seventeen.



· She raised three boys and sent them to boarding school before putting herself first. She registered at Punjab Agricultural University to accomplish this.



· Rajni has always been an excellent baker and cook. She would passionately prepare ice cream in her backyard and cakes on the gas stove for her loved ones.



· Her sweets gained a lot of popularity, which inspired her to take out a loan of Rs 300 to purchase her first oven and launch a tiny bakery.
